Minimize Mediation Programs

Mediation: Information & ProgramsMediation Programs offer a highly effective way to resolve disputes. Mediation is a private, confidential, and informal process that addresses the concerns and needs of all parties involved in a dispute. The parties attempt to reach an agreement with help of a mediator.

A mediator’s role is to guide the parties through an interest-based problem solving process to resolve their disputes. Mediators ensure that a comfortable environment is created to facilitate the discussion, help the parties define the issues in dispute, ensure that the discussion remains on track, and helps the parties identify and communicate their priorities and concerns. Mediators support the parties in reaching a decision and do not take sides, make decisions or suggest solutions. The parties come to their own solutions and nothing is imposed by the mediator.
